Choosing between a dust vacuum rental and a dry vacuum is an important decision when cleaning a worksite.
Dust collectors/vacuums are designed specifically to handle large quantities of dust and particulate matter that a standard dry vacuum would not be able to handle. Dust collectors are usually quite large and are often fairly expensive. The bag house/collector areas often hold significant quantities of dust.
If a dry vacuum is used in place of a dust collector/vacuum, it is quite easy to destroy the vacuum motor in a matter of minutes. This is especially true of concrete dust collection, where the abrasive content is high, and the standard vacuum motor is easily invaded by the material being collected.
