“I really appreciate your help locating the 50 foot extension lift that we needed. Your willingness to help me find it from one of your competitors speaks volumes in terms of your commitment to your customer’s needs. Again, thank you. But I wanted to let you know something I learned.

There is a huge PROFESSIONAL difference between Volvo and your competitors. As a woman-business owner, I do not expect to be treated differently in the construction world. However, I do expect to be treated with respect when spending our money! When I arrived at your competitor, I was told where the lift was and was expected to hook up the piece of equipment myself. I have NEVER touched anything at Volvo. I hand someone my keys and chat with folks in your store while the equipment is hooked up or loaded. Same thing when I drop it off.

I expressed my disbelief at the treatment by your competitor to my husband. And he informed me that your courteousness has nothing to do with the fact that I am a woman. You treat him the same way!

I needed the lift so I had to go elsewhere but I will plan better next time so that I can make sure I get to utilize the equipment from Volvo Rents. The professional experience is definitely worth it!”
