In today’s addition to the Volvo Rents video series, we explore some of the interesting features of the ECR48, or compact radius machine. The ECR48 is a very specialized unit for highway work or up-close work. Why do we say that?   The ECR48 is constructed so that when it is turning to dig on the sides of the excavator, the back of the machine stays within the footprint of the machine. When rotating, the back of the machine never hangs over the tracks.
