Before you do any leg work for putting up a fence, you’ve got to do some phone work.  Call your township to find out if there are any specific requirements or building codes regarding fences in your neighborhood.  Then, you’ll need to call your utility companies to see if there are any buried underground service lines on your property.  And do a visual inspection for close trees – hitting a tree root can complicate the post hole digging process.
