Industrial Info Resources in Sugar Land, Texas recently reported that United States passenger rail spending is expected to stay strong in 2013.  According to their research, spending has been relatively strong within the rail portion of the transportation sector of the U.S. Industrial Manufacturing Industry throughout the recession and recovery years.

The article continued to say, “Looking at planned spending in the passenger rail sector in 2013, it appears as though it will remain strong this year as well. Industrial Info is currently tracking just less than 50 U.S. passenger rail projects worth an estimated $9.9 billion that are scheduled to begin construction in 2013.”
