Nick Mavrick, Vice President, Marketing & Strategy Speaking at Europlatform Conference

Nick Mavrick, Vice President, Marketing & Strategy, Volvo Rents, will be one of the speakers at this year’s Europlatform Conference held in Madrid, Spain on September 16.  Volvo Rents is a subsidiary of Volvo Construction Equipment and has 160 stores and 215,000+ customers in North America, Europe, India, Thailand, Philippines and Mexico.     The conference program theme, ‘Renting Smart:  Efficient Fleet Management’ has drawn a host of knowledgeable industry speakers to share their insights on how to rental companies can increase profits and achieve optimum efficiency.   Mavrick’s presentation, ‘Contrarian Marketing:  Picking Your Customers Before They Pick You’ is also the title of his new book, to be published in early 2011.  Mavrick’s marketing experience includes retail marketing, brand development, strategy and business development at Volvo, Intel and May Department stores.   The Europlatform Conference is organized by Access International magazine and the International Powered Access Federation.
