I recently read an article in Industrial Info Resources that seemed very positive for the construction industry. The article stated that, “The proximity of the Marcellus shale to large population centers and lack of oil & gas infrastructure are expected to continue to drive construction spending in the region for many years to come.” Not bad news for the construction industry.
Along with the article in its entirety is a video Web cast, “Navigating the Currents of Change,” during with Jesus Davis, Industrial Info’s voce president of research for the Oil and Gas Production , Transmission and Terminals industries is interviewed about Marcellus and the U.S. and global energy markets.
You can read the article and see the interview here: http://www.industrialinfo.com/radio/navigating.jsp?industry=oilgas06
