A carry deck crane is a small 4-wheel crane with a 360° boom that rotates placed in the center of the truck area. With the crane at one end of the truck body the operators’ cab is located at one end under this boom. The engine is housed in the rear section while the area above the wheels is referred to as a flat deck. Invented in the states, the Carry deck has the flexibility to hoist a load into a confined space. Once it has loaded, it can then load it on the deck space around the cab or engine and subsequently move to another site.
