Volvo Rents in Tampa, Florida recently helped Troop 314 of the Boy Scouts deliver approximately 1000 bags of mulch for their yearly fundraiser. Volvo donated the use of an F350 pick-up truck and a trailer to haul the mulch to customers. Our involvement and delivery truck aided in the delivery of approximately half of the mulch bags to 50 customers and allowed the troop to complete the task in under four hours.

Troop 314, based in Odessa, Florida is led by George Cucchi and has close to 30 active scouts who were able to raise over $1400.00 during this fundraiser. The money raised by the scouts will help the troop develop the character and core values of the boys through activities, events and campouts.

We have restructured our MidSouth Division. It now incorporates two divisions which will make equipment more readily available and accessible throughout Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

The newly created North MidSouth Division will manage the Volvo Rents branches in West Monroe, LA; Bossier City, LA; El Dorado, AR; Mabelvale, AR; Pine Bluff, AR; Texarkana, AR; and Pearl, MS. The South MidSouth Division will manage the company’s branches in Alexandria, LA; Geismar, LA; Slidell, LA; Covington, LA; Hammond, LA; Hattiesburg, MS; and Gulfport, MS.
